SAVING MONEY IN TODAY’S ECONOMY

In today’s economy everyone is hunting for ways to save money. There are many different things you can do to save money and make your budget work better. This food tip is right out of my book, The Ultimate Guide for Stay-at-home Parents.
Here’s a Breakfast savings Tip:
Sausage and Biscuits

This should be done during the day when you have a few minutes to spare. They can be prepared and stored for later use.

NOTE: Many children prefer mild sausage. Look for sales. You might find the box of heat-and-serve sausage to be the best or the best buy might be the tube sausage. Again, look at the price per ounce or price per pound sign that is located on the shelf price notice, to figure out the best buy on the products.

1 can of 10 biscuits
10 sausage patties
2 ½ slices of cheese

Prepare the biscuits in the oven according to instructions on the can. When they are done, place them in a freezer bag and place in the refrigerator.

Take 10 sausage patties and cook them in the microwave until they are done. Place these sausages in a storage bag and put in the refrigerator. For breakfast, take a biscuit and a sausage, put them together and wrap them in a paper towel. Place them in the microwave for around 30 seconds and you have a sausage and biscuit ready to eat. You can also take one slice of cheese and cut it into four pieces and top each sausage with cheese so you will have a cheese, sausage biscuit. Another way is to put everything together and ready to reheat. When you want to use them, pull out the number you need, heat them in the microwave, and serve.
