Microwave Baked Potatoes
Using a whole potato, wash the outer skin of that potato and dry with a paper towel. Prior to baking take a fork and pierce the potato in a few places to allow the inner steam to escape. Wrap the potato in a paper towel and place in the microwave.
When making multiple potatoes, use potatoes that are near the same size. This will allow them to cook at the same pace. Cooking time for one potato is around six minutes on high. Add one minute for each extra potato. You can stop the microwave and check for doneness by inserting a small knife or fork. If the knife or fork slips through easily the potato is done. Remove from the microwave and serve.
