No matter where you live chances are there is someone near you who is giving away items that are free or at a large discount. The following are a few websites where you can find a wide spectrum of items.
Craig’s List has a “Free Stuff” section. Just go to search, put in your town or the largest town near you and then put in “Craig’s list, free stuff” and you will be able to scan everything available.
Free Cycle is another website that carries free items. Go to your URL and type in “freecycle.org” then type in your location and it will show you any items in your area.
Free Birthday Treats is a website that may have free or discounted items. Go to the URL and type in “freebirthdaytreats.com.”
Kids Eat for Free is a web site for children’s meals. Go to your URL and type in “kidsmealdeals.com.”
These are just a few of the free stuff web pages, but remember there are some scams out there, so be careful. If you want to learn more about scams go to Craig’s List and look on the left hand side of their web page for “avoid scams & fraud”. This is good reading.
